Customers (scroll down page for tradesmen) · How do you know the builder or plumber you’ve picked is going to be reliable and do a good job? · Which one should you pick out of the plethora of adverts in your local directory – the one with the biggest advert?? · You’ve spoken to friends and family but nobody can recommend one, where do you go next? OnlyRecommended aims to put customers in touch with local tradesmen who come recommended by their own customers. The risk is taken out of trying to find a decent and reliable tradesman because we contact their previous customers and get there recommendations. Two recent references are sought by us which are available for you to read on the website when you find the tradesman you are looking for. Rest assured, we try to weed out the cowboys so that you can relax, safe in the knowledge that you will get a good job from an honest person. How we do it: Simply go online to our website at www.onlyrecommended.com and by using your postcode carry out a search for the trade you require. Only those trades which work in your post code area will appear in your search results. After you have registered your details you can enter information on the type of work you want done and submit this to a maximum of 3 of the tradesmen that appear on your search results. They then have 48 hours to accept your lead after which you will be emailed to try others. You don't have to rely on a system of scores and ratings given by others just read what their customers have to say about them. Tradesmen know they are not unfairly competing for scores for positions on listings as it is purely down to distances to the postcode put on the search enquiry. The closer they are to you the less travelling they have to do and the more competitive their quote should be. All of this means: · Best prices because you have up to 3 people competing for your work · You can relax, they’ve been recommended by others to be reliable and do a good job · You don’t have to spend time phoning around, to find a tradesman to quote for your work, they will be calling you!! Because they want your business. Tradesmen · Fed up of competing against Cowboys who provide a bad service? · How can potential customers pick out the wheat from the chaff – should you just buy the biggest advert in the local directory? · Word of mouth works for a while but what if you need even more business · How can you generate even more business in your locality? OnlyRecommended.com puts recommended local tradesmen in touch with local customers. By doing this, we make customers feel more comfortable giving work to tradesmen because the risk is taken out of trying to find a decent and reliable trades person or company. It's free to register and there's no charge for annual membership. You simply supply us with your business details and the details of two recent customers for references, which we then verify and contact for their recommendations. These must be independent private customers that you have worked for and not family/relations or other trades. One new reference must then be supplied every 6 months to stay on the OnlyRecommended register. How does it work? Potential customers go online to our website at www.onlyrecommended.com and carry out a search using their postcode for the trade they require. They enter information on the type of work they want done and are only allowed to select up to 3 tradesmen to submit the job details too. An SMS text and Email alert is sent to the tradesmen chosen who will need to log on to their account to access the details of the lead. The tradesman has 5 days to accept the lead upon which a fee of £10.00 is charged to obtain the customer's contact details. You know any leads you get are local to you. On registration you submit a mileage distance you are willing to travel and only those customers who fall within this area will obtain your details on any search results. On your profile page there is also an availability box. If you book up enough work for the forseeable future or for any other reason you no longer wish to receive leads for any period you can uncheck this box. All of this means: · You have a great new way to gain more business · Unlike advertising elsewhere, you only pay by results · You will stand out from the cowboys – people will see that you are an honest, reliable business. · No timewasters!
